About Egg Monitoring (Follicle Monitoring)
Egg monitoring involves short ultrasound examinations performed at regular intervals starting from the beginning of the menstrual cycle to observe the growth of the egg. The goal is to determine whether ovulation has occurred and to identify the days when the chance of pregnancy is highest. During the monitoring, the thickness of the uterine lining is also evaluated; if necessary, treatments that support ovulation may be added. The examination is brief and is usually repeated several times within one cycle. Monitoring ovulation does not guarantee pregnancy; it only helps in correctly timing and guiding treatment decisions.
