About Cesarean Scar (Scar) Pregnancy Follow-up
Scar pregnancy is the implantation of the gestational sac into the scar tissue from a previous cesarean section. It is rare but early diagnosis is important; therefore, in expectant mothers with a history of cesarean delivery, the location of the sac is carefully examined during the first ultrasound evaluation. Once diagnosed, monitoring and treatment options are planned based on the gestational age, sac location, and the patient's condition. Throughout the process, bleeding and pain are closely monitored. This diagnosis does not necessarily mean the pregnancy will end; decisions are made based on findings and in consultation with the patient.
